Jamestown Resident since: 1991 Hometown: Dumont, N.J.
Why I do what I do: I became a Realtor over 20 years ago. This is my only occupation and I love it, meeting new people, helping them find homes they love, and enabling others to move on with the most ease possible. I enjoy working with clients, sometimes for long periods, until they are ready to move or find just the right place.
A little bit about me: I have two sons, Dylan, and James. One lives close by in Jamestown and works in Providence, and one lives in Oregon, but visits as much as possible because this will always be home! I also have two adored cats, Hobbes and Ziggy Stardust, and a spoiled and loved mini Aussiedoodle, Indie! I attended FIT and lived in Manhattan for over 13 years. I had my own production company, where I did set design and production work on national print advertising campaigns, off Broadway theatre, and national TV commercials.
What I do when I’m not doing real estate: I am a founding member of the Jamestown Arts Center, a non-profit, multi-disciplinary, visual, and performing arts center, which began as a great idea in 2007. I was a Board Member, became Vice Chair for 4 years, then Board Chair for 5 years. I retired from the JAC in 2021, yet remain active on the Engagement, Film, and Soiree Committees, doing my best to make this wonderful addition to our community thrive and succeed. This is an exciting, vibrant home for artists and art-lovers alike! I also enjoy hiking, stealing time at Mackerel Cove whenever I can, cooking and entertaining, especially for all my friends and family who have come to love RI as much as me.
Notable accomplishments in my real estate career: I have listed and sold homes, condos, commercial real estate, and vacant lots all over Southern RI, with prices ranging from $160,000 to $6,000,000. One particular transaction stands out. I negotiated on an unlisted farm in Little Compton for almost two years. My clients who purchased this property could not have been happier! I especially love when my clients refer me to family members or friends. To me, that is the greatest accomplishment!
