Jamestown resident since: 2012 Hometown: Westerly
Why I do what I do: I have always enjoyed working with people in any capacity. I have experienced first-hand the value, pride, and joy that having a home brings to people. I have strong core values that embrace integrity, hard work, ethics and caring for the best interests of my clients.
A little bit about me: I studied at the University of Rhode Island, receiving my Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I have dedicated my life to assisting families in need. I have served as a Legal Advocate for the Domestic Violence Center, assisting victims through the court process. I also have trained police officers on issues related to domestic violence. I decided to become a real estate agent so that I could continue to help people. I understand that buying and selling a home can be a very emotional experience and I want my clients to know that I am with them every step of the way.
Things I do when I am not doing real estate: When I am not doing real estate you can usually find me with my family and participating in Jamestown school events, where my son attends. A passion of mine is also tending to my gardens any time of the season. Home design is also a passion of mine. My husband and I together have restored a lovely home here in Jamestown, just one of our many home building projects together.
Notable accomplishment in my real estate career: Nothing brings me more joy than finding that perfect home for a family. It is a truly rewarding experience. I was working with a family who had been looking for a home for 8 months and when we started our search it took me just 10 days to find them their dream home.
